Italy: Final thoughts: 12 0f 12

There are no words to describe this trip. I threw in a few pictures and tried to put words into a narrative, but it took all of May into June, and there's still so much more to say...

Our extraordinary overall guide, Laura, worked really hard. There were only ten of us, but we were a headstrong bunch and needed a lot of corralling... or maybe it's shepherding. But she knew her work and anticipated "stuff" day in and day out, and made our tour one of detail-free angst.

Our local guides knew their stuff, and clearly loved their work. Their passion for the art, the history, and the stories was always evident, and they added context and meaning for us at every turn.

Linda and I were lucky to be joined by four other couples, from all over the US, who enjoy travel, and learning, and yes, wine! It was rewarding to get to know them, interact, and jointly marvel at the experiences throughout Italy.

A truly amazing tour.

Nerd addition: Lightroom Classic keeps track of the number of photos that were processed by way of each folder:
