Glacier Bay Two post 11 of 16

We left Margerie Glacier behind and started south, then turned west apparently (I had no idea as I was not tracking our cruise ship's path. Had I done so, it may well have pushed Linda over the edge, which may have caused her to do just that to me).
Next stop, Lamplugh Glacier. As you can see, it is just around the corner from the previous stop:
Being old hands, now, at glacier analysis, we guessed that this was mostly ice from the depths, that was compressed and attained that beautiful color. The glacier is160 feet high and three-fourths of a mile across. Note the tour boat off to the right, and the intrepid sailors just to the right of center.
We came in closer:
And closer yet:
And even closer:
With each frame, there was just so much beauty...
But, time to head to port (the place, not the direction!) so we cruised south, but not without more stuff to photograph (I really liked the couple on the right-hand side of the frame, reminded me of Linda and yours truly):
And, one last shot before putting the gear away and getting ready for another day:
