COVID-19
Now the teaser. “If it takes the lily pads 48 days to cover the pond completely, how long will it take for the pond to be covered halfway?”
The answer is 47 days. Moreover, at day 40, you’ll barely know the lily pads are there."

Actually, the whole article is worthwhile.
And then there's the case of the OK governor, and a mayor, who posed for pictures in crowded restaurants with their families, and then faced... backlash. The governor took down that post.
Why?
Because folks with an agenda will create a false narrative to support their beliefs, in spite of facts.
I believe, that when we reach a tipping point of not enough beds in ICUs to handle the sick (if we do), that those who said, "It's nothing, the flu is much worse" will find another false narrative to ascribe blame... who, exactly, might they turn on? The usual cast of characters - the dems, the media, Obama?
Similarly, if we don't reach that point, and somehow we are able to contain this thing, then the narrative will be, "see? Told ya so," in the face of the massive cancellations and disruptions that (may have) lead to containing the worst-case scenario.
Either way, "they" were wrong. Closing schools, restaurants, bars, casinos, hotels, air travel, etc.... none of those were necessary. All a hoax.
I'm just saying, to underscore, folks with an agenda will create false narratives to support their beliefs regardless of facts.
Oh and shame on you congresspeople who included abortion language in the emergency coronavirus package. Or did you?

Thankfully many people have some time off work to try and sort through the lies and sift for truths. Until, of course, the utility bill comes and they have their electricity shut off.
